Astrology Branding Archetypes: How to unlock your Zodiac sign colours
One of the questions I get asked a lot is:
“what colours should I use in my branding to align with my astrology chart?”
This isn’t an easy question to answer but it is one that I work through with my AstroBrand Signature and AstroLuxe clients.
You gotta love your brand colours
Firstly I want to state that LOVING your brand colours is really important and I would never encourage a client to use colours they hated just because they appear to be a fit with their astrology chart.
Instead, my approach is to look at a range of elements of their Astrology Blueprint, consider the potential colour options and then create a colour scheme that they love that is also aligned with their astrology.
Colour Tone & Intensity
Choosing different tones or intensities of colours for different clients is key i.e. some will love muted or pastel colours and others will be drawn to jewel tones, dark and intense colours, neon or really bright colours.
How I choose colours for clients
When I work with clients I consider their Sun sign (their core essence), their rising sign (how others see them) and their soul clients in order to ensure that the colours they choose for their branding reflect who they are, what other’s love about them and the energy of the people they are most meant to serve and therefore want to attract.
When I do an AstroBrand Signature my clients typically have 3 or 4 astrology archetypes that we are working with - each with its own unique colour palette.
What I am looking for are the similarities rather than the differences.
For example, I might notice that they all have a different tone of green or purple and that tells me that this colour needs to be part of the brand palette.
I’ll also get my client to look at each of the astrology archetype colour palettes in question and to tell me which colours they love and any they really don’t want to see in their branding.

My full AstroBranding zodiac colour palettes employ a range of 5 colours but for the purposes of this blog, I’m going to simplify things to 3 main colours to consider.
Zodiac sign brand colours:
Aries Brand Colours
Consider bright bold colours such as red, orange, and yellow.
Taurus Brand Colours
Utilise earthy muted tones but ones with a feminine edge.
Gemini Brand Colours
Bring in bright, fun colours potentially in Neon tones.
Cancer Brand Colours
Use pale, soft, pastel colours particularly those in blues and greens reminiscent of the sea.
Leo Brand Colours
Weave in warm desert colours that are still bold such as orange, yellow and camel.
Virgo Brand Colours
Focus on calming, healing cool colours such as blue, forest green and greys or taupes.
Libra Brand Colours
Play with muted romantic colours such as blush, coral and deep blues and greens.
Scorpio Brand Colours
Have fun with sexy, rich, passionate, and dark colours that invoke a sense of mystery such as burgundy, wine red, and charcoal.
Sagittarius Brand Colours
Explore deep dark colours that invoke a feeling of spiritual or philosophical pursuits such as grape purple, navy, and Charcoal.
Capricorn Brand Colours
Rely on serious, earthy, traditional colours such as burgundy, camel, and navy or khaki.
Aquarius Brand Colours
Discover colours that are bright, bold, and perhaps a little quirky like a fire truck red, jewel-tone sapphire blue, and emerald green.
Pisces Brand Colours
Be creative with mystical, sea-inspired colours like seafoam, turquoise blue and purple to give a sense of the soulful and sensitive side of Pisces.
AstroBranding Colour Schemes from recent clients:
Danielle Willis - Pisces, Cancer & Capricorn
This colour scheme needed to feel very Soulful and Sensitive due to the double Water in Dani’s AstroBrand Signature. However, we also needed to bring through Capricorn’s earthiness and we did this through some earthier colours to balance the more mystical purples and creative turquoise.
Ashleigh Stevens - Scorpio, Libra and Aries
This colour scheme needed to bring the depth of Scorpio, the beauty of Libra and the energy of Aries. We did this by having some deep and rich colours, some more muted hues and a brighter coral to bring some energy.
Nikki Crowell - Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio & Taurus
This brand needed a mix of earth, fire, and water. It needed to feel soulful and spiritual, deep and passionate, energetic and creative. Similar to Ashleigh’s colours scheme we did this by combining dark and rich colours, with some earthy neutrals and a brighter Terracotta.
Bobbi Kline - Capricorn, Cancer & Leo
Bobbi’s brand is a mixture of earth, fire and water and we needed to find a balance between calming colours, grounding colours and energetic colours. We did this by selecting calming blues, earthy browns and gold and vibrant Terracotta and Orange.
Toni’s Healing Room - Aquarius, Gemini & Cancer
Toni’s Brand is an Air & water brand and needed to combine colours that are bright and energetic yet also soulful, healing and calming. We did this by combining beautiful turquoise and purple with a bright yellow and a grounding neutral.
